I agree competly with Joao. If Canonical/Ubuntu wants to have greater 
presence in corporate's environments it would have to do something about 
this.

But returning to initial question: how can I configure apt to update or 
install only server packages with no need to be verifying whenever if a 
package belongs to the server or desktop ??
