Re: vt8251 support: msg#00029linux.ubuntu.server
Hi On 10:56:07 pm 25/06/2006 Ivan Krstic <krstic@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > unreasonable request and being immature about it. The release has been > made. All developer effort is focused on the next one, except for > security updates. This has always been the case. While this has always been the case in the past, it is not the case for Dapper. See: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DapperPointReleaseProcess which, according to: https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+spec/dapper-point-release-process has been approved at the Paris conference, so we should expect to see respun dapper images in the coming weeks/months, which may provide an opportunity to get this issue fixed. Also, regarding the bug that this thread is about, I have marked a couple of reports as duplicates of the original one. To the people with this bug (especially UNIX4ALL), please don't post duplicate bugs, especially if you're just then going to put a comment on the original saying that you have this bug too and linking to the other one! Cheers, --- Chris Jones cmsj@xxxxxxxxxx www.tenshu.net
