Hi Og, Today at 17:27, Og Maciel wrote: > Dear Jannick, Ok, agreed. But I don't want to spend time quantifying > what is considered "substantial" or not. What do you think of this approach as a possible > solution? And what if someone made a number of suggestions yet is not part of the translation team, and those suggestions got used in the translation itself (approved by a team member)? While some people don't care about being mentioned in the credits, others do, and I'd rather err on the side of those that care. Even if we are to leave this to each team's preference, we'd have to set a number of options: 0. Don't allow changing translator-credits from package 1. Add only the translation team to the credits 2. Add each contributor to the credits 3. Add all significant contributors I'd avoid 0 since some stuff may have been completely translated in Launchpad, and I'd avoid 3 because of the subtle and problematic definitions of 'significant'. So, I think we are down to 2 choices: credit a team (with the problem above) or credit everyone (with the problem of giving credit for the slightest of updates). I lean toward the latter, but this is an open discussion, so don't hesitate to share your opinion :) Cheers, Danilo
