Re: OpenOffice.org translations now open for Ubuntu 7.04: msg#00003linux.ubuntu.rosetta
Hi, On 5/3/07, Matthew Revell <matthew.revell@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > OpenOffice.org translations are now open in Launchpad for Ubuntu 7.04 > (Feisty). That's good news. I am glad you found a way of managing the format. However, 232 templates are a huge number. Unfortunately the 232 templates are quite unorganized in Launchpad. In Pootle they are organized in the original subdirectories, what makes the whole thing a bit easier to handle. My question: If we want to use Rosetta for translation but later export the files to build a GSI file for upstream, will we have to export each and every file by hand, or will there be a method to export the whole thing in one big ZIP file, as it is already the case in Pootle? It will be hell of a work to keep track of corrections anyway and it would be very difficult to feed translations from Rosetta back to OpenOffice.org again. Ciao, Erdal
