Hey guys,
You know what drew me to Rosetta? simplicity. I saw that I could
register my project (encfs) and make it easy for people to add
translations.
I'm about to make a new release of my project, so I'm visiting Rosetta
to get the latest translation updates. But what I see now is anything
but simple.
I go to my project page and I no longer see an overview showing the
status of translations, but I'm faced with lots of links and options.
This is sort of like moving the primary feature off to a subsection of
a newspaper. It may seem obvious to you, but for someone not used to
the site it is inefficient to have to scan around a page full of links
to find a 'translate' option, when Rosetta is where they went, so the
primary purpose should be translation, right?
Ok, now I see the Translations link at the top and click on it. And
then I get a "No Translatable Templates Available" message. At this
point if I'm a casual translator, I'm probably going to give up and
leave the site. This is not a good thing.
As the project owner, I'm wondering where my project's translations
went? It isn't clear to me what's going on. Help, where are my
project's translations?
