Need help with drop shadow: msg#00040linux.ubuntu.devel.xubuntu
Hi all, In my quest to improve xubuntu's interface, I foresee a drop shadow behind the user-name box, in the gdm artwork. Like the one in the graphics below, http://img351.imageshack.us/img351/4739/greeter2withshadow9hn.png I think this little detail would make the greeter look classier improving xubuntu look and feel significantly. If you think so too, I would need someone who is familiar with hacking the xml code; xubuntu.xml controls the layout of the artwork. This is the plan: I make a drop shadow graphic and I would need someone who could incorporate the appropriate piece of code into the xubuntu.xml file that would place the drop shadow underneath the user-name box, like in the picture. Unfortunately, I dont feel competent to undertake this heck that's why asking if anyone could do it. J. Mak -- http://jozmak.googlepages.com/
