hi!

if it's the same problem with the menu disappearing when edited that
many have encountered, then
$rm ~/.config/xfce4/desktop/menu.xml
and
$apt-get install xfdesktop4
so it does not happen again, as the problem is fixed in dapper-updates

I solved it this way: cp /etc/xdg/xfce4/desktop/menu.xml .config/xfce4/desktop/menu.xml. Then, CTRL+R to refresh the screen. :-)

I can´t do 'apt-get install' because I have to install ndiswrapper-utils and install it.
