kde 3.5.3 problems on dapper

After upgrade i have the following problems: an attempt to set up a 
screensaver either through right-click > Configure desktop... on the desktop 
or through the module in system settings results in a crash of the module 
together with kdesktop process (I get a black screen, I can get it back by 
typing kdesktop in the command line). The previously set screensaver (matrix, 
i guess) no longer shows up.

Another problem: I can start kaffeine, but it crashes on any attempt to play, 
or an attempt to change the xine settings. Xine also crashes at once... I can 
not start Codeine at all... Must be some general problem with the xine engine 
on dapper, though xine works as a backend of amarok. I did not notice exactly 
notice when this behaviour started, so cannot tell what it might be related 
with.

Should I report the problems related to KDE 3.5.3 here, or rather through 
malone?
