[Bug 32701] Incorrect Display Defaults: msg#00340

Subject: [Bug 32701] Incorrect Display Defaults
Public bug reported:
https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/32701

Affects: kde-systemsettings (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
Within the Display settings -> Size, Orientation & Positioning tab the
display settings slider indicates that my current resolution is at
640x480 even though it is in 1280X1040. The slider will only go to
800X600.

In addition there is a delay of excess (> 4 seconds [Athlon 2100 - 1GB
ram) for the administrator mode to take effect.
