linux.suse.autoinstall

Subject: RE: Autoyast including latest patches

The patches are installed once, but a lot packages get installed as an
rpm and once more in an update, more often than not close to the size of
the original rpm.

Why are they getting installed twice? Installing all the available
patches takes some time anyway. Last time I looked there were 100 or
so.

I have my SuSE_10 patches on an NFS share, and I run

online_update -V -u 'nfs://<file server IP>/path/to/patches'

, and it runs like a charm. Patches are only getting installed once.
