For this reason I destroy the URLs in the comments.

I understand, maybe this is a possibility, but this would reveal
the "secret" why the spammer's entries stay hidden. If he knew he would
place the ad in another field, I suppose. My impression is, that having
locked those many IPs, traffic has decreased a lot...
