What is the best way to keep the 5.1 > version and install new packages? I'm working with exactly the same issue. I prefer to install as few errata as possible on production systems. RHN Satellite Server 5.1 supports extended update support (EUS) which is a special channel that should provide security updates for a given point version without updating to the next point version (like 5.2). Note that I have not tried this myself yet, but it seems promising. Read the release notes for satellite 5.1 if you are interested: https://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/satellite/Red_Hat_Network_Satellite-5.1.0/html/Release_Notes/index.html Erling Ringen Elvsrud _______________________________________________ rhelv5-list mailing list rhelv5-list-H+wXaHxf7aLQT0dZR+AlfA@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/rhelv5-list |
