we do monitor servers and servises with nagios; there is also a
ssl-cert-check-plugin. May be you will/are looking for a monitoring
solution like nagios as well.

slighty OT: Infortrend Eonstore RAID Systems and dm-multipath
This is a multi-part message in MIME format.
Hi,
I am a little bit fed up with EMC pricing and came accross cheaper
products made by "Infortrend" and sold by a couple of mid-size
integrators in europe.
Surprisingly these guys cannot spell "Linux"...
Does anybody run an Infortrend Eonstore RAID system? Would you recommend
it? Are the systems compatible with device mapper multipathing?
best regards, Gunther

We have five or six FC Eonstore RAID units. Most of them directly
connected to a single Linux machine (currently FC5). I don't have much
experience in that setup.
One unit is connected to our server SAN which I admin. The servers are
still running RHEL3 and I have been using the QLogic driver's built in
multipathing, so I can't comment on device mapper multipathing.
So far I have been happy with the units. The controllers that we are
using are redundant active-active.
