Subject:	FC3 Install auf ITE8212 / Install-CD mit anderem Kernel?

Hallo Liste,

ich habe hier einen Rechner mit ASUS P5GDC-V deluxe. Die Festplatte
hängt am IT8212 IDE-Controller.

Die FC3-Install-CD hat dafür kein Modul und erkennt keine Festplatte.
Nun habe ich gelesen, das ein neuerer Kernel dafür ein Modul besitzt.

Die Frage ist nun, kann ich der Installation CD irgendwie einen
aktuelleren Kernel oder einen Custom-Kernel mit passendem Treiber
verpassen?
