Vielleicht schickst Du uns mal die entsprechende Zeile aus
der /etc/fstab und ein ls von einem Ordner auf der fat32 Partition?

zum Vergleich:
>>/opt /opt ext3 defaults 1 1

Auszug des o.g. Fat32-LWs mit "ls -l" (als root):

Wie gesagt, auf den Linux-Laufwerken kann ich mit den Dateien alles anstellen, nur über nautilus kein Umbennen auf den Fat-Partitionen :-(
