In meinem Sprachgebrauch würde ich das nicht unbedingt Patch nennen, sondern nur dann, wenn ich mit einem Satz (oder auch einzelnen File) den bestehenden Sourcecode verändere, um dann auf Basis des veränderten Codes etwas zu kompilieren.
