Welche Festplattenparameter sollte ich als Kerneloption übergeben? fdisk -l Disk /dev/hda: 40.9 GB, 40982151168 bytes 255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 4982 cylinders Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System /dev/hda1 1 1044 8385898+ c W95 FAT32 (LBA) /dev/hda2 1045 1061 136552+ 83 Linux /dev/hda3 1062 1077 128520 82 Linux swap / Solaris /dev/hda4 1078 4982 31366912+ f W95 Ext'd (LBA) /dev/hda5 1078 1795 5767303+ c W95 FAT32 (LBA) /dev/hda6 1796 2578 6289416 83 Linux /dev/hda7 2579 2595 136521 83 Linux /dev/hda8 2596 3378 6289416 83 Linux /dev/hda9 3379 3395 136521 83 Linux /dev/hda10 3396 4178 6289416 83 Linux /dev/hda11 4179 4194 128488+ 83 Linux /dev/hda12 4195 4982 6329578+ 83 Linux hdparm -i /dev/hda /dev/hda: Model=Maxtor 5T040H4, FwRev=TAH71DP0, SerialNo= Config={ Fixed } RawCHS=16383/16/63, TrkSize=0, SectSize=0, ECCbytes=57 BuffType=DualPortCache, BuffSize=2048kB, MaxMultSect=16, MultSect=16 CurCHS=4047/16/255, CurSects=16511760, LBA=yes, LBAsects=80043264 IORDY=on/off, tPIO={min:120,w/IORDY:120}, tDMA={min:120,rec:120} PIO modes: pio0 pio1 pio2 pio3 pio4 DMA modes: mdma0 mdma1 mdma2 UDMA modes: udma0 udma1 udma2 udma3 udma4 *udma5 AdvancedPM=yes: disabled (255) WriteCache=enabled Drive conforms to: ATA/ATAPI-6 T13 1410D revision 0: * signifies the current active mode Eine etwas andere Partitionierung mit fdisk ergab das: fdisk -l Disk /dev/hda: 40.9 GB, 40982151168 bytes 16 heads, 63 sectors/track, 79408 cylinders Units = cylinders of 1008 * 512 = 516096 bytes Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System /dev/hda1 * 1 15874 8000464+ 7 HPFS/NTFS Partition 1 does not end on cylinder boundary. /dev/hda2 15875 16123 125496 83 Linux Partition 2 does not end on cylinder boundary. /dev/hda3 16124 16372 125496 82 Linux swap / Solaris Partition 3 does not end on cylinder boundary. /dev/hda4 16373 79408 31770144 5 Extended Partition 4 does not end on cylinder boundary. /dev/hda5 16373 22325 3000280+ c W95 FAT32 (LBA) /dev/hda6 22326 38199 8000464+ c W95 FAT32 (LBA) /dev/hda7 38200 42168 2000344+ c W95 FAT32 (LBA) /dev/hda8 42169 54570 6250576+ 83 Linux /dev/hda9 54571 54819 125464+ 83 Linux /dev/hda10 54820 67221 6250576+ 83 Linux /dev/hda11 67222 67470 125464+ 83 Linux /dev/hda12 67471 79408 6016720+ 83 Linux Al
