Ist das eigentlich nur bei den Kernelpaket so das die alten Pakete installiert bleiben oder muss man die bei allen anderen Anwendungen auch jedesmal manuell entfernen?

Letzteres zeigt halt wirklich nur alle Kernel an. Beim oberen erscheinen zusäztlich noch die Pakete kernel-source-* und kernel-utils-*


Mit "rpm -e *kernel*" deinstallierst Du dann den gewünschten Kernel, wobei Du *kernel* durch einen String erstezt, den die der "rpm -qa ..."-Befehl zurückliefert. Das führst Du dann nacheinander für alle zu deinstallierenden Kernel durch.



Ich würde eher antworten rpm -e kernel-<versinsnummer1> kernel-<versinsnummer2> ....


Ist auch unmissverständlicher für Einsteiger.
