You asked me (off list) to submit a patch for pdk/debian/control - Having had
an opportunity to compare git-core, cogito, and what git commands pdk call
via a shell, I see the two are not interchangable. The list of commands that
pdk uses from git-core (and are missing from cogito) is fairly short, but no
doubt critical. The list :
git-cat-file blob
git-checkout-cache
git-commit-tree
git-diff-files
git-diff-files
git-init-db
git-local-pull
git-read-tree
git-update-cache
git-write-tree
