Epson Stylus Photo R300 CD-Printing

Greetings all,

I have been working on getting the Epson SP R300 to print directly on CDs/DVDs. 
 Choosing the correct print path is a simple matter of sending the following 
ESC/P2 remote command:

PP BC=3 00 02 01

However, as one might expect, although this enables printing onto the CD/DVD 
tray, both the image (I am just printing a square test pattern in The GIMP) and 
the CD mask are incorrectly positioned for the CD tray.

As I've only taken a brief look at the source code, I don't know what the best 
way to solve this would be.  A new paper size listed in the paper size 
drop-down perhaps?

If someone could give me a good swift kick in the right general direction, I'd 
greatly appreciate it.
