Re: Re: Reverse-engineering CD printing on the Epson R300: msg#00107linux.printing.gimp-print.devel
From: "Kenneth P. Esler Jr." <esler@xxxxxxxx> Date: Wed, 28 Jul 2004 10:37:01 -0500 Using your patch with Media Source set to "Manual", I was able to print correctly to the CD using glabels, with the attached template I created. Other users might have similar success. This seems to be a pretty reasonable option now. Thanks! For any users who might like to use the template, put it in your .glabels directory. When you run glabels, you should be able to find the template under the A4 paper size list. Note printers which use Tray type 1 will have a little different geometry. That's why I don't want to allow anything but the actual CD sizes to be printed using the CD setting. If someone creates CD artwork, it should print identically on any CD printer, without having to be moved around. -- Robert Krawitz <rlk@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Tall Clubs International -- http://www.tall.org/ or 1-888-IM-TALL-2 Member of the League for Programming Freedom -- mail lpf@xxxxxxxxxxxx Project lead for Gimp Print -- http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net "Linux doesn't dictate how I work, I dictate how Linux works." --Eric Crampton ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by BEA Weblogic Workshop FREE Java Enterprise J2EE developer tools!
