Subject: Epson Stylus Pro prints off page

I'm not sure this is the right place to ask this; if not, could someone please tell me where to look?

I'm using an Epson Stylus Pro with a LocalTalk card; I print to it from MacOS 9 (Epson's OS 9 driver) and X (CUPS + Gimp-Print). In MacOS X, the margins seem to be shifted (approx.) 2" up from their usual location, centered on the page. Printing starts 2" before the paper reaches the ink cartridges (and sprays ink on a plastic shield instead), and ends 2" from the bottom of the page. In MacOS 9, however, printouts are centered on the page, as expected.

It would appear that the Gimp-Print driver causes the printer to run 'Load Paper' (same as pressing the button on the front panel), and then it starts printing immediately. The OS 9 driver, however, runs 'Load Paper' and then scrolls the paper an extra 2" to compensate.

Is there an easy way to tweak any relevant settings here, that I could try?
