Sorry, but it was out of ink. I'll post a full summary of the event
once it's complete (you'll see a draft on the lsm-printing list).

The R300 output was horrible. Scans of the EPSON Windows driver and
Gimp-Print output are here:

There are visible white lines across the page at 1440 DPI. This also
affected the EPSON driver--Glen Petrie thought it might be a bad
printer. The colour was wrong, though. Comparing the test pattern
with the EPSON specs and print-escp2-data.c, the nozzle layout looks
OK, and it should be identical to the R200. Has anyone else had
success with either model?

I have an R300, and it produces excellent output for me. You were
using beta1? What kind of paper?
