Here's a link to two pictures of the disk: http://www.milliways.st/xbox/

This seems ok, running fine with Mandrake 9.0. A bit dissappointed that it
didn't have the 10Gb disk.

Has anyone else found used disk in their xboxes?

I have a WD 8 GB drive here, which has a circular white sticker at the bottom right of the large sticker. On your drive, it's a black sticker...
I don't think your HD used. Walter, who developed the OpenXbox/BioXX mod, told me that he found hard disks with bad cluster list stickers in many Xboxes. He said that MS probably uses hard disks that don't pass the quality check in order to be sold as retail hard disks, because they have some bad clusters. These bad clusters get remapped anyway and are not even visible though the ATA protocol, but they show that the HD is not perfect and might break earlier.
