Used HD in new Xbox

I bought an xbox about a month ago and was surprised to find out that the
harddisk in didn's seem to be new. It has something written on it and it
seems to have a half removed failure label.

This seems ok, running fine with Mandrake 9.0. A bit dissappointed that it
didn't have the 10Gb disk.

Has anyone else found used disk in their xboxes?
