Anyway, back to the point.
This is the kind of feedback I needed. Looks like you've found a bug. I
don't run mandrake myself so this is useful.
I suspect your running kernel is missing keyboard event input layer
support... having said that - the driver should NOT load CLEANLY if that
is the case.
If you can email me the kernel ".config" file used to build you MANDRAKE
kernel (not the 2.4.19-dev051 .config), I'd be happy to work on the problem.

I suspect my problems will be due to my lack of
experience with re-building Linux kernels, but I would
