Booting again & OpenXDK

I tried to use the other open alternative, OpenXDK, just in case that I
won't be able to use this either. I believe I found something
interesting.

I've downloaded the XBFDemo provided there. Again the screen freezes
exactly after the XBox logo - nothing is running. On the other hand, the
older demo that it provides (which is more or less an EXE hack)  runs
nicely.

Could this be related with the Linux not being able to boot in a 1.1
XBox ?
