Along a similar vein, has anyone tried DVD-R's, DVD+R's, DVD-RW's, whatever
in the XBox, and how well do they work compared to the CD/RW's?

If this works, then (at least with Debian) we can create jigdo files
containing appropiate entries that are usable not only for CD creation, but
for DVD creation. Since most of the Debian packages come from a mirror (the
non-specific to XBox ones), downloading of iso's can usually be sped up for
the end user. More on jigdo at http://www.debian.org/CD/jigdo-cd/
