Milosch's burned copies of mandrakes worked whiles yours did not? What are the models of your cdrw's? Perhaps pressed cds will be offered/sold for initial install? How many different kinds of dvd-roms are there running about in the two versions of the xbox? Freevo seems to be a very cool project; I have it running on my desktop in windowed mode. Very nice to look at, select music and videos and they just recently added support for mame. On the fullscreen issue I belive the -zoom option to mplayer (which freevo does use) will scale the video without hardware accel. That is if the cpu is fast enough. I have no idea about wether the xbox is fast "enough" for this, but I hope. And thanks for the explaination on tv-out it seems everything I have ever read about the subject always made it seem as if it was nearly impossible to get decent flicker free output to a tv. > > > says that it needs 10+ gigs to install?
