For what its worth, I did eventually did get a mozilla build working for
the SH4 last month. I was starting from a 'known working' mozilla 0.9.2
tree, which had been modified for SH4. I've not tried anything more
recent, so its quite possible that you are encountering different
problems.

Using a 3.3.2 compiler, I did need to apply a couple of patches. I think
they are all now part of the gcc 3.3 branch, whether they found their way
into 3.3.3 I've not checked. In particular gcc bug 13302 needed to be
fixed just to complete the compilation without an ICE.

I also found it a good test case for the perennial fpscr_values problems!
