Okay, got it working. Searching google I found an ubuntu page that
indicated that the ssb module would cause conflicts with ndiswrapper. I
rmmod'd the ssb and ndiswrapper modules, then modprobed ndiwrapper and
the wlan0 device shows up. I then was able to configure the wireless
via System->administration->network. You have to:
select add
select wireless devices
in the next window you'll see the driver listed, select it and configure it.
This is working with wep key.
wpa will be next...
Sweet.

Apparently because they know some folks will setup a dual boot with XP.
It appears that one whole disk is devoted to Windows software.
Disk 2 actually is labeled 'windows support.

Okay, so I'm following the directions from:
http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=29659
Once I get to the point of 'ndiswrapper -m' I understand that 'iwconfig'
should show the wlan0 device, but it is not there.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
