MacBook (non pro) status

Hi all
I have bought a MacBook and following many information on the net, I 
have been able to install  a triple boot with rEfit,
now i'm trying to tune the linux part in order to fix ever possible 
stuff, but I'm left with many questions.
So please give me any hint you can about any point you can among the 
following:
I'm running a Debian Etch with a self compiled kernel-2.6.18-rc4

1) sleep doesn't work

2) cpufrequency scaling works with cpufred, what about the other 
governor (powersaved, powernowd, cpudyn) they seems to don't work to me.

3) madwifi, works but cannot put it in monitor mode

4) iSight works with ekiga, not with  kopete

5) pbbuttons  doesn't work (it say that  doesn't find the  /dev/pmu 
interface, and this is natural but i have no idea on which is the right 
interface)

6) glx doesn't work glxinfo says that i have no direct rendering, and 
glxgears doesn't work

7) xgl doesn't work it complains about glx

8) function key works from 2.6.18-rc4

9) the microphone even if shown in alsamixer with 3 different input 
source (Mic, Line, Front Mic) doesn't seems to work


Please let me know if you have any hint on any of this point, all the 
rest seems to work greatly for me, and if I could help anyone in 
configuration, please let me know.
