Consider myself interested too. I had something like that in mind also, but it always seemed like too distant a thing. Well, maybe time has come to bite at it. I've again spent some time on the net hunting for low-level object store (that's what we need to backup) information. Of now avail - there're lot of rambling about 33 wince's process slots of 32Mb each, but regarding ObjStore there's hardly anything besides few trivia facts and mentioning of SetSystemMemoryDivision()/GetStoreInformation(). Still, I dumped few links on the wiki page. Then I remembered that I've bothered to get wince5 platformbuilder with my previous ROM investigations, though it arrived too late ;-). Well, it seems to have the answers to disturbing questions - I dumped files of primary interest to wiki too. And I actually see that PB is quite good and giving a ROM layout too. So, you may want to look for that too. > Sorry that wouldn't be very fast, since I've never done anything in > C++ before. HaRET seems like natural thing to extend with all these features. -- Best regards, Paul mailto:pmiscml-Re5JQEeQqe8AvxtiuMwx3w@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx |
