Re[2]: WinCE autorun. Anyone tried?: msg#00020linux.ports.h2200
Good day, Paul. PS> And btw, I would be also interested in nice working, automated PS> bootloader from WinCE, and in seamless dualboot. Towards that goal, PS> I've reserved a wiki page: PS> http://www.handhelds.org/moin/moin.cgi/WinCePalmOsAsBootloader , so PS> feel free to dump your thought there ;-) Ok. While now I started "playing" with eVC++ and will try to make something..heh...usable as a simple replacement of welcome.exe. I also started digging my iPAQ h2200 rom, since the card autorun doesn't seem to disable some things like screen calibrations upon a hard reset and on h2200 it doesn't seem to work at all. I wonder if I'll be able to locate where welcome.exe actually is in rom. The goal I'm after - is making an automated bootloader AND a backup\restore tool at the same time, so that you needn't run iPAQ backup after rebooting "hard" - the bootldr will do it automatically. Such ldr could be installed either by card autorun or via replacement of welcome.exe. Sorry that wouldn't be very fast, since I've never done anything in C++ before. I only know delphi & php/mysql well and eVC looks very strange to me. =( Will have to learn :-/ -- Cheers! Andrew aka Icebird mailto:Icebird-5V6hr5OkoTgedp2WBT/QOw@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx |
