Re: CF problem: msg#00105linux.ports.h2200
I experienced unusual hangs at first, until I figure out that each time I failed to boot from an ext2 file system on a (in my case SD) memory card, I was corrupting the file system. Since the rootfs for the 2200 has no fsck on start-up capability, I would simply re-create the file system each time after a failed boot. Things got better for me once I started doing that. -Ben > On 3/21/06, s.cls-QFKgK+z4sOrR7s880joybQ@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > <s.cls-QFKgK+z4sOrR7s880joybQ@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: >> -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- >> Hash: SHA1 >> >> áÎÄÒÅÊ âÏÎÄÁÒÅÎËÏ a ?crit : >> >> >What zImage you are using? >> >> I don't remember if it is >> >> http://familiar.handhelds.org/snapshots/v0.8.3/RC2/unsorted/zImage-2.6.13-hh1+cvs20051221-h2200-20060209195359 >> >> or the zImage in >> http://familiar.handhelds.org/snapshots/v0.8.3/RC2/unsorted/gpe-image-v0.8.3-h2200.rootfs.tar.bz2 >> >> Which one I should use ? > > I know the kernel + moduiles mentioned in > http://www.handhelds.org/hypermail/h2200-port/36/3623.html works. > > Matt > _______________________________________________ > H2200-port mailing list > H2200-port-CN5wO63fgwogsBAKwltoeQ@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > https://handhelds.org/mailman/listinfo/h2200-port > |
