I followed the wiki:

http://handhelds.org/~mreimer/zImage-LAB-20060222.htc
dd if=zImage-LAB-20060222.htc of=/dev/sdb

Then I went into the rescue bootloader and "Pressed Power to flash".

Then I pressed reset and lab booted.
