Trying MMC boot with LAB: msg#00071linux.ports.h2200
Hello I am trying to boot the image from http://familiar.handhelds.org/snapshots/v0.8.3/RC2/unsorted/gpe-image-v0.8.3-h2200.rootfs.tar.bz2 I have installed LAB as per the instructions at http://www.handhelds.org/moin/moin.cgi/HpIpaqH2200LAB When i installed LAB i got the CRC fail on the device but i also got WRITE fail. Is this normal? I have restarted the device and i can see the graphical LAB. MMC formated as ext2, single partition and mounted under /mnt/mmc Then i bunziped the rootfs and extracted with 'tar xvf gpe-rootfs-bla-bla.tar -C /mnt/mmc' I created a labrun file under /mnt/mmc/boot/ and added the following contents: copy fs:/mnt/boot/zImage fs:/zImage umount /mnt armboot fs:/zImage "root=/dev/mmcblk0p1" saved, synced and unmounted the mmc card. Put it into the device and rebooted. LAB appears to run (graphical invent freely logo etc), then the screen becomes black and stays there forever. I am doing something wrong. Could someone please give me some advice? Thank you Andreas |
