do you think this would work as a storage device?

for those of you not wanting to click the link, it's an 8 gig microdrive that is meant to sit in the cf slot
it's listed as a photo storage device, but i wonder if you could set it up to be used for any other things, like say, music?

Hmm, can you give us some details of how you are setup, and also what are the contents of the files in the haret startup.txt file under CE? I too would like to run Familiar as my sole operating system on my h2215, I used to have an h3650 and I loved the way I could just turn it on and boot straight into familiar. Unfortunately when I dropped my bag off the back of my motorcycle some months ago, the h3650 met the business end of a dump truck. Thus I upgraded to the h2215. I have read on the wiki that you can load something called LAB (Linux as bootloader), but I could not find any futher information about this process anywhere. If someone could provide a link to more information about LAB and/or the process of installing it, we would be forever grateful. Thanks, David
