Serial driver on ixp1200: msg#00167linux.ports.arm.general
hi.. I am using rmk2 patch for arm and ixp1200.2.gz patch from mvista on a 2.4.18 kernel for ixp1200. The serial driver is quite slow(not the baud rate part..), it seems to be working in blocks. Transmits few chars, pauses and then transmits again. This was not the case on the linux put up on netwinder.com(2.3.xx-pre.. kernel). I can see that the serial driver underwent a lot of changes between these two versions. (2.4.18: drivers/serial/serial_ixp1200.c 2.3....pre..: drivers/char/serial_ixp1200.c) Does anybody know the source of the problem? I would like to fix it on the 2.4.18 version and send it to the maintainer. thanx gopi _______________________________________________ http://lists.arm.linux.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/linux-arm http://www.arm.linux.org.uk/armlinux/mailinglists.php Please visit the above addresses for information on this list. |
