Subject: linux i2o block device patch 1.0.6 - msg#00084List: linux.lvm.develI've create a patch for lvm-1.0.6 for use with a linux i2o block device. I don't exactly know the specs of i2o devices, but i've got one (a ide-hardware raid card) and i needed to include this patch in order to make lvm find this block device---even though it is registered in the various /proc files. I is based on Josh Logan's patch posted in http://lists.sistina.com/pipermail/lvm-devel/2001-May/000413.html, and apparently adapted for a more modern lvm. Maybe you can check the correctness of the patch (it works fine for me but i don't know if i forgot something or did too much), and include the patch in a next release. Thanks, ---david P.S.
