I have a Garmin eTrex Cx, gpsdrive 2.10pre2, gpsd 2.31 on SuSE 10 and I
have been doing some wireless mapping. I have noticed that kismet is
logging data correctly but I have noticed two things about gpsdrive. 1:
the map does not display new APs until I restart- I thought that the
display was real time. 2: More importantly, the database does not get
all of the APs that are logged by Kismet.
I am wondering if I misunderstand something or just have something
mis-configured.
IIRC kismet-gpsdrive seems to be very touchy with the version of kismet
and gpsdrive. I last had this functional with 2.09 more than a year
ago. Updated kismet and it died even though both programs still worked
individually the interconnect stopped. If it was fixed, it might have
broken again.
