Hi gpsdrive list,
I was wondering if anybody got any experience using the magellan explorist 210
with gpsdrive.
This device is interesting for linux users because the 22mb of usable memory on
this device is accessable as plain usb-storage when you connect it. Waypoints,
routes, tracks, poi ed. are simple ascii text files in specific subdirectories.
Maps is a bit more difficult, because you need to find a way to run the mapsend
soft, and store the maps on the hd, but then you can easily copy the maps over.
What I can't seem to find out, however, is whether the nmea link over usb is
supported by the usual linux tools (gpsdrive, gpsbabel,...). Anyone?
