Even better: create a kind of service that reads the maps and passes the data
in a documented form. like this, also other applications might use the data.
still might be a copyright problem to pass the data. but even with a library,
you'll have to pass the map data to the non-protected world! only, if the
library also does the drawing this problem could be solved. but this is not
the idea of a well-usable library.
I'm the author of gpsylon (a java application) and I also want to use the
navteq map data for it.
