I have just installed Suse Linux 9.2 and am playing around with that for the
time being.
I found the they now include gpsdrive so I want to play with that, too.
I have a Fortuna U2 USB gps, and the USB viewer tool finds a Prolific pl2302
serial converter when I plug it in. So far so good.
The thing I really need now is to determine the device name of the gps so I
can tell gpsdrive where to get nmea data, but so far I have not been able to
find the correct device name.
