Asus wl500gP

Hi, I'm going to try to install linux on asus wl500gp (mipsel
architecture). Going to try gentoo now.

Is it better to setup a build server on my pc... and put there a flash
disc with stage3 (which is available) or prepare all on my pc and that
put it on the usb stick all at once. I cannot store portage on the stick
anyway.

I suppose both involves some difficulties with the crosscompilation.
