masking out /etc/gconf per default from CONFIG_PROTECT: msg#00206linux.gentoo.devel
Hello, whats the proper way of dropping config protection of /etc/gconf per default? to have it enabled will make the steps in pkg_postinst break since the new schemas won't be installed because they are marked as "protect " and will only be avaiable after the user has updated all files.. Kinda bad since it introduces some subtle bugs where settings break. //Spider -- begin .signature This is a .signature virus! Please copy me into your .signature!
