By default, hardlinks are used on a single device, symbolic links when the devices differ. A set of options allows you to modify the methods of file comparison, the hash functions, the linking behavior, and the reporting style. You may use batch or interactive mode. Freedup usually only considers identical files, but when comparing audio or graphics files, you may elect to ignore the tags. Changes: You now have full capabilities to determine link direction, which is particularily helpful when more then two files need to be linked. Also, the limitation that not more than 256 files may be identical no longer exists. (For efficient memory usage, four identical files are assumed and if more exist, memory allocation is doubled each time the boundary is reached.) The "-H" switch allows you to treat files that are already linked as duplicates, too. Without "-H", depending on the linking directions, the results can vary. These proofs are automatically verified by a proof checker. Because this system is not centrally administered and enables references to any location on the Internet, a world wide mathematical knowledge base could be built. It also contains information in "common mathematical language". Changes: Some small but important improvements were made. The error presentation gives the correct URL and the GUI marks the position of the first error in the source code of a QEDEQ module. During checking for logical correctness, all required QEDEQ modules (as specified in the "IMPORTS" section) are loaded. Beside various refactorings, the module "qedeq_basic_logic_v1.xml" is a little bit more formal (that is: has more formal formulas in it). It runs on a home Linux/Unix server and creates a personalized adult Web server in which to store, peruse, and catalogue a personal collection of adult material. Its many features include model catalogs, attribute-based searching, randomized highlights, new addition lists, and a flexible bookmark mechanism. In addition to this, several more of the significant configuration query functions from the Core API are now implemented: getvaluename and geticonlist in particular.
