The parser can scan HTML files and "fix up" many common mistakes that human (and computer) authors make in writing HTML documents. NekoHTML is written using the Xerces Native Interface (XNI) that is the foundation of the Xerces2 implementation. This enables application programmers to use the NekoHTML parser with existing XNI tools without modification or rewriting code. Changes: The license was changed to Apache 2.0 and the version number was boosted to reflect the maturity of the project. Project files were reorganized to decouple them from the rest of the CyberNeko Tools for XNI. xercesMinimal.jar and source were updated so that NekoHTML compiles using Xerces-J 2.9.1. The default behavior was changed to not normalize attribute values and a new feature was added to allow users to turn on normalization. The build was modified to target compilation for Java 1.3. Suggested paragraph tag balancing was adjusted and various reported bugs were fixed. The "right" branch of such a method will be selected dynamically at run-time according to the actual type of the object on which the method is invoked, and to the actual type of the first argument: double dispatch. This basically implements dynamic overloading in C++. Changes: Warning error messages are printed correctly, so that they are recognized as warnings (and not as errors) by an IDE. In makefiles, non-standard make rules are avoided. It can also be compiled as a library for use within third-party applications. Changes: An uninitialized struct member in the fc-solve executable was initialized. License: Public Domain URL: http://freshmeat.net/projects/freecellsolver/ - % - % - % - % - [017] - FreeDup 1.3-1 by AN (http://freshmeat.net/users/aneuper/) Sat, Dec 15th 2007 13:11 Multimedia :: Sound/Audio :: Analysis System :: Archiving :: Compression System :: Filesystems About: Freedup finds and eliminates duplicate files by linking them, and thus reduces the amount of used disk space within one or more file systems. By default, hardlinks are used on a single device, symbolic links when the devices differ. A set of options allows you to modify the methods of file comparison, the hash functions, the linking behavior, and the reporting style. You may use batch or interactive mode. Freedup usually only considers identical files, but when comparing audio or graphics files, you may elect to ignore the tags. Changes: This release offers a much more efficient usage of the internal hash function. This new default algorithm consumes a bit more memory, but takes, in the worst case, about the same time as without hash calculation. The file reads are significantly reduced and in a test case the wait time for about 8000 files (48MB average) was decreased from 5 to 2 minutes. This is about the performance of dupseek without the risk of wrong partial results. The documentation was updated and a bug in statistics was fixed, too. Please note that with this version the "-#" option now requires an argument. The main application of this program is to protect services such as SSH with an additional layer of security in order to make the exploitation of vulnerabilities much more difficult. The authorization server works by passively monitoring authorization packets via libpcap. Changes: Support was added for NAT communications after a valid SPA packet is monitored so that internal systems can be reached from the external Internet. (This only works with iptables firewalls for now.) A test suite so that SPA communications can be validated in an automated way added. The ability to periodically restart the fwknop daemons based on a configurable time interval was added. (This is useful for the extra cautious.) iptables OUTPUT chain support was added for installations that do not have the conntrack modules running and that use a restrictive OUTPUT chain. Changes: There have been a few database changes. All varchar fields have been replaced by text fields to remove arbitrary limitations. The most important change is the addition of the conference_day table. The days of the conference are no longer a start date with the number of days but is now a list of individual dates which do not have to be consecutive. Those days can be named and be marked as public so they will appear in the schedule. There have been compatibility changes to make Pentabarf work with Rails 1.2.6 and there have been a lot of bugfixes. On Linux, an infra-red connection is also possible. The following tools are part of the package: plpbackup, a command-line backup program; plpftp, an FTP-like frontend with some extensions; sisinstall, a SIS package installer; plpnfsd, a daemon providing the Psion's file system via an NFS-mounted directory; plpprintd, a print server for printing via a PC; and kio_plp, a KIOslave which enables all KDE applications to deal with files on a Psion. Changes: This release removes the KDE utilities and plpbackup, and replaces plpnfsd with the FUSE-based plpfuse, which works much better. The build system has been overhauled and radically simplified. plpftp has been improved with support for the EPOC clipboard, and bugfixes to stopping and starting tasks on the EPOC device were ported from plpbackup. It has features such as history, completion, and line editing. It has high level functions (searching for tables, indexes, count, explain plan, list of sessions, etc.), proper output for screen and files (CSV ready for inclusion in spreadsheets), support for user-defined SQL, background queries, graphical output for the schema data model, object dependencies, a PL/SQL package function call tree, and much more. Changes: All of the source tree was reorganized and was switched from a custom build system to distutils. Installable packages are available for Linux (RPM and Slackware tgz) and Windows. Pysql is now installed in a standard Python site-package and a wrapper is put on the PATH. All configuration and cache files are now in $HOME/.pysql/ on Unix and %APPDATA%/pysql/ on Windows. The use of extended search patterns was added to the search function and datamodel function. It does this by removing advertising and background images and scaling down images to low quality JPEGs. RabbIT is written in Java and should be able to run on any platform. It does depend upon an image converter if image scaleing is on. The recommended image converter is "convert" from the ImageMagick package. Changes: A problem with parsing HTTP/0.9 responses and a problem with requests with no file information were fixed. Lehmann (http://freshmeat.net/users/pcg1/) Sat, Dec 15th 2007 13:46 Desktop Environment Software Development :: Internationalization Terminals About: rxvt-unicode is a clone of the well known terminal emulator rxvt, modified to store text in Unicode and to use locale-correct input and output. It also supports mixing multiple fonts at the same time, including Xft fonts, real transparency, and an optional embedded Perl interpreter that allows you to extend your terminal easily. Changes: Libev was updated, working around a problem with the Linux 2.4 kernel and curing the problem of urxvt sometimes not refreshing in a timely fashion. The -C option now works as expected. The urxvtd will flush X events only once per display, not per open window. The slipwheeling behavior has been improved. Text blinking will no longer take miniscule amounts of CPU time when not used. There have been a lot of small code cleanups and code size optimizations.
