About: AgileWiki is a program that explores new knowledge representation.
It is an attempt to implement, at least in part, Norm Kashdan's Rolonic
Theory, a profoundly different approach to time and knowledge
representation. CowDb is a high-speed object store over which the next
generation of AgileWiki will be written. 

Changes: There are now 5 types of tables supported: Table, which holds any
type of object; HandleTable, which holds only persistent handles; Hash,
which holds any type of object; HandleHash, which holds only persistent
handles; and LargeHash, which holds only persistent handles and uses a
tree of HashMaps. Persistent objects are now cloneable. This is used to
make better use of the object cache. The database file now defaults to the
"rw" mode, which is much faster and good enough for most uses. Bugs were
found and fixed regarding disk blocks that were being freed more than
once.

About: Alerttail monitors a given file and executes a list of actions when
a user-defined text pattern has been written to the file. For example, the
user can pop up a GTK notification window when a certain message is
written to a log file. Actions can be alerttail built in actions (GTK
notify action, geoipLocalization action, or filtering text action) or a
custom user defined shell command action. A Qt 4 GUI frontend helps with
configuration.

Changes: A regexp reference help guide was added. New features are shown
on the GUI. libconfig was upgraded to 1.2. libboost-regex was upgraded to
1.34.1. A save/loading progress bar was added. Drag and drop was enabled
for node items. A recent files list was added. Double clicking on an item
only selects it. Logging can be enabled or disabled per output location.
The layout dimension was fixed.

Decentralized revision control systems give users the ability to branch
remote repositories to a local context. Users can commit to local branches
without requiring special permission from the branches that they branched

be stored in a configuration file. Many smaller improvements and bug and

the Evolution mail reader.

HTML. evolution-import-rss was added for importing feeds over DBUS. A

About: gc-utils is a small set of scripts that let you import and update
CVS repositories into git very easy and let you export patches back into a
CVS working copy. To makes the exchange easy, gc-utils stores the CVS
working copy into a subdirectory and receives all information from there
whenever necessary. 

Changes: An interactive script was added that allows you to select
multiple commits to be commited back into CVS as well as showing their
diffstats and logs. Recent entries (newer than 10 minutes) are fetched
during gc-update. To avoid this, it is possible to pass the new -ga
option.

About: Gecko Media Player is a browser plugin that uses GNOME MPlayer to

About: gPodder is a Podcast receiver/catcher written in Python and pyGTK.
It manages podcast feeds for you, and automatically downloads all podcasts
from as many feeds as you like. If you are interested in Podcast feeds,
simply put the feed URLs into gPodder and it will download all episodes
for you automatically. If there is a new episode, it will get it for you.
It supports download resume, if the server supports it.

Changes: The channel navigator now has a graphical representation of the
number of downloaded and unplayed episodes. Support for iTunes Podcast

About: grsecurity is a complete security system for Linux 2.4 and 2.6 that
implements a detection/prevention/containment strategy. It prevents most
forms of address space modification, confines programs via its Role-Based
Access Control system, hardens syscalls, provides full-featured auditing,
and implements many of the OpenBSD randomness features. It was written for
performance, ease-of-use, and security. The RBAC system has an intelligent
learning mode that can generate least privilege policies for the entire
system with no configuration. All of grsecurity supports a feature that
logs the IP of the attacker that causes an alert or audit. 

Changes: Fixes to PaX flag support in RBAC system. PaX updates for non-x86
architectures in 2.4.34 patch. A setpgid in chroot problem has been fixed.
The randomized PIDs feature has been removed. This release fixes /proc
usage in a chroot in 2.6 patch. It adds an admin role to generated policy
from full learning. It resynchronizes the PaX code in the 2.4 patch. It
has been updated to Linux 2.4.34 and 2.6.19.2.

Changes: This is the first release of the reworked single-window GUI.
Other new features include much improved JOIN logic when constructing
filters, caching of lots of relationships to the abstract card table to
improve performance, a new NOT filter, the ability to specify the
expansion from which a card comes, card list locking to prevent accidental
modification, a parser for the ARDB text deck format, a direct printing
plugin, parsing of the burn option and reflex card type, a means of
marking decks as in use, and support for theming via GTK.

abuse. Unwanted messages are rejected during the SMTP dialogue, instead of

message is accepted. The configuration file is easy to understand and

About: uBee512 is an emulator for the Microbee Z80 microcomputers. It
emulates all 56-512K FDD, Teleterm 256TC, and 32K ROM based models. The
emulation includes full Premium/standard model graphics and sound, has Z80
PIO emulation for tape, sound, RTC, serial to PC RS232 port, and printer
peripherals with interrupt support. 6545 and 256TC Keyboard emulation is
fully supported. The Microbee display may be viewed in a window or full
screen. 

Changes: Old color circuit emulation was added. The Premium/256TC model
colors were revised to be more inline with the standard CGA colors.
Emulator functions were added, allowing file access to host system and
control of emulator. CP/M emulator tools were added to copy files from the
host to CP/M and vice-versa and to display a host directory from the
emulator. Reset and exiting of emulator commands have been added. Disk
images are now write protectable. The DS80 "DSK" format was fixed. Mouse
button click context fixes were made. Other additions and fixes also made.

About: Vamos project allows computers to run software directly from the
network, without installations. The software is stored on servers and is
centrally maintained without the user's effort or attention. The user just
needs to run applications, and the necessary bits are streamed
automatically to its computer. The execution of the software is local,
allowing high responsiveness and distributed computational load. 

Changes: Support was added for mounting FTP mirrors using curlftpfs. A
minimal GUI launcher with console and monitor windows was added. Logging
application and network usage is now possible and the monitor window is
used for that. The user is now asked before the application is executed
and a configuration file was added, so almost all features are now
optional and configurable.

About: WANem can be used to emulate wide area network conditions in a LAN
environment. It can emulate network characteristics like Bandwidth,
latency, loss, disconnection, duplication, reordering, asymmetric
networks, etc. It is distributed in the form of a bootable CD.

Changes: Support was added for emulation (nat) across multiple subnets
with only 1 NIC on WANem. The GUI was enhanced. Bandwidth templates are
available. Screen fitting was improved. Firefox browser support was added.
Download size was reduced from 592 MB to 390MB (~200MB). WANalyzer was
enhanced to work on very low bandwidths. You can exit to a Knoppix shell
in a console.

About: wget can be used to download a Web site, with all pages referenced
by the originating one, but it saves all pages in a directory tree (or
single directory). The intention of web-archive-creator is to join the
power of wget and the usability of the .war format, which Konqueror is
able to browse. The Web ARrchive format is simply a tarred and gzipped
file containing the Web files. The web-archive-creator script performs the
download with wget and writes an index.html linking to the starting
pages/URLs wget fetched.

About: WinFF is a cross platform batch GUI for FFmpeg. WinFF processes
multiple files in multiple formats at one time. For example, it will
convert MPEG, FLV, and MOV files into AVI files all at once. 

Changes: Handling of international filenames was improved. Linux
preferences labels not showing and bugs in finding the presets.xml file
were fixed. The current number of the video being converted was added to
terminal window caption. Some IFDEF's were eliminated for better cross
platform compatibility.

About: Xenomai is a realtime development framework cooperating with the
Linux kernel in order to provide pervasive, interface-agnostic, hard
realtime support to userspace applications, seamlessly integrated into the
GNU/Linux environment. Xenomai is based on an abstract RTOS core, usable
for building any kind of realtime interface, over a nucleus which exports
a set of generic RTOS services. Any number of RTOS personalities called
"skins" can then be built over the nucleus, providing their own specific
interface to the applications by using the services of a single generic
core to implement it. 

Changes: Support for the x86_64 architecture was added. Linux was upgraded
to 2.6.23. Major refactoring of assorted modules was done. Numerous
significant bugs were fixed.
