The main GUI application, astGUIclient, is a set of PHP Web-based scripts utilizing Javascript and XMLHTTPRequest functions that work through a browser to give realtime information and functionality with nothing more than an Internet browser on the client computer. Another component included with the astGUIclient package is the VICIDIAL auto-dialer, a list dialer which can dial one-call-at-a-time or be put in auto-dial mode to act as a predictive dialer. It can function as an ACD for inbound calls or for Closer calls coming from VICIDIAL fronters, and allows for remote agents that may only have a phone. Changes: System statuses, including the addition of status categories, can be easily controlled. Several new In-Group features were added, including music-on-hold, alert messages, and call times. Skill based ranking and call routing can be done for inbound and outbound. Agent call routing based on the number of calls taken today per in-group or campaign can be done. The ability to copy the settings of an existing User/Campaign/In-Group into a new one was added. The Transfer feature in the agent screen was changed to allow for more transfer In-Group choices. Available campaigns are dynamically displayed for an agent in the agent login screen. It can also be used equally well as a helpdesk customer support, trouble ticketing, or email management system to collect and manage customer feedbacks, incidents, requests, and issues. It is easy to use, but still flexible and adaptive, and can be configured to fit to your organization's unique business process and workflow. Changes: Query and search can now be made case-insensitive. The workflow table was modified to use the TEXT instead of the VARCHAR data type, and the file table was modified to use VARCHAR(255) for the content type column. A duplication problem related with the newly added audit fields was fixed. Most of the methods are extended versions of PHP's native functions, but providing a lot more functionality and powerful debugging features. There are also new methods that greatly simplify the process of executing specific queries like returning specific rows or even single values from specific rows, SUM(), COUNT(), and MAX() queries. Starting with version 1.0.9, the class also supports caching. Changes: This release fixes a bug in the close() method. The debug window will now inform you if you haven't explicitly closed the connection with the close() method. There are some documentation refinements. The main intention of portagent is for situations that need more services open to the world than the system's open ports allow. In effect, PostGIS "spatially enables" the PostgreSQL server, allowing it to be used as a backend spatial database for geographic information systems (GIS), much like ESRI's SDE or Oracle's Spatial extension. Changes: Improvements in the TIGER geocoder. A fix for an ST_EndPoint() crash bug. ST_AsGML() has been modified, improving v2 and adding v3 support. A fix to ensure ST_Envelope() returns valid geometries. The JDBC build has been changed to use Ant. A fix for better OS X support. A fix to the WKB parser to do simple validity checks. It uses data files instead of scripts to limit the spreading of trojans in software packages. It's designed to be easy to use for users and developers. For better portability and efficiency, all of the components are written in C. Requirements are a POSIX system, a C compiler, a POSIX shell, and a make tool. It can be used to edit existing themes when the original graphics are unavailable. It also outputs an XML file that can be fed to the theme compiler to recreate the theme from the extracted graphics. Changes: This release fixes a bug in the output XML filename that caused the file to end up in the wrong directory. Among other features, it offers support for reliable syslog over TCP and RFC 3195, writing to MySQL databases, fully configurable output formats (including great timestamps), the ability to filter on any part of the syslog message, and on-the-wire message compression. It is designed as a drop-in replacement for stock syslogd and thus is able to work with the same configuration file syntax. Of course, some enhanced features require changing the configuration file, but in general, this should be fairly easy. Changes: The build system was cleaned up and some errors in it were fixed. The MySQL module is now also compiled with -pthread, which was missing in 1.19.11. An update to this release is suggested for users of 1.19.11. Users of other versions do not necessarily need to upgrade. Sudo operates on a per-command basis, it is not a replacement for the shell. Changes: The ALL command in sudoers now implies SETENV permissions. The command search is now performed using the target user's auxiliary group vector, not just the target's primary group. When determining if the PAM prompt is the default "Password: ", the localized version is compared if possible. The passprompt_override option was added in sudoers to cause sudo's prompt to be used in all cases (set when the -p flag is used). It can cope with big lists (780,000 subscribers), and it comes with a complete Web interface for both the user and the administrator. It is internationalized. Sites can customize Web and mail templates, authentication backends, and authorization scenarios. Dynamic mailing lists can use multiple backends (LDAP, SQL, files, lists, or others). Sympa is the only S/MIME enabled mailing list software, and it provides both authentication and encryption. Changes: This release fixes some bugs in the latest 5.3.3 release. It is the successor of QDBM. Tokyo Cabinet runs very fast. For example, the time required to store 1 million records is 1.5 seconds for a hash database and 2.2 seconds for a B+ tree database. Moreover, the database size is very small. For example, the overhead for a record is 16 bytes for a hash database, and 5 bytes for a B+ tree database. Furthermore, the scalability of Tokyo Cabinet is great. The database size can be up to 8EB. Changes: The cache manager was enhanced. A bug related to overflow in 32-bit environments was fixed. A range search method was added. It supports disk and in-memory databases, field types from Bit to BLOB, and both a SQL92(99) and non-SQL API. Valentina supports Relational, Extended Navigational, and Object-Relational data models. It introduces a revolutionary model abstraction "Link". It works natively in UTF-16, can accept 270 encodings, and features advanced features such as regular expressions, XML, full-text search, pictures, functions, and calculated fields. It offers triggers, views, and stored procedures. Changes: SQL support for GET/SET/SHOW PROPERTIES of all Database Objects was improved and now include SERVER. New SQL commands were added to better serve the GUI tool Valentina Studio when it works with remote databases with over 100 tables. Support was added for GROUP BY WITH ROLLUP and the syntax of JOIN with filter predicates in the ON clause. Some new examples about Triggers, Events, and Link Refactoring were added to the Valentina ADK. Working with schema diagrams in Valentina Studio has improved. Rather than email or phone each user whenever you need a current IP address for connecting with VNC, you visit the Web page generated by VNCTracker that shows the updated IP address for that host. It will then build .vnc files to easily start VNC sessions served via HTTP. Changes: This release adds support for Dovecot POP3/IMAP logs, which is set by default. There is some code cleanup. However, it isn't a packet sniffer. The traffic information is analyzed from the /proc filesystem. That way, vnStat can be used even without root permissions. Changes: This release adds support for config files, automatic detection of 32-bit/64-bit interface counters, and interfaces with names longer than 6 characters. Output readability has also been enhanced, and database files are now more fault tolerant. It features a fully graphical configuration, while still allowing manual editing of the configuration file without the need to restart Worker. Any external program can be integrated easily into the GUI using buttons, hotkeys, and file type actions. Worker uses file recognition by file content or by filename extension (or both). Different actions with completely configurable commands can be assigned to each file type. Changes: The chmod command has been improved to allow adding or removing permissions, and the internal file viewer is much faster, especially with word wrapping. There are some other minor changes, and the Italian translation has been updated.
